My kids have been dressing themselves since they were 2. Yes, some of you may say I'm crazy, but it sure is nice with one less thing to worry about in the morning. However, it is not always a perfect thing.
Jared picked out (and wore) this ensemble to church a couple weeks ago. I tried to explain to him why it didn't match (plaid with stripes), and he said, "Mom, I'm a boy. I don't have to match." I left it at that. Luckily, only one person really noticed at church...
and by the way, this is NOT what Chandler wore to church. He probably changed 2 times from his "church" outfit to this one (which IS a downside to dressing themselves - more laundry!)...
