GOT SOME CATCHING UP TO DO.....

It's been a super-busy month (well, really since the last post...) Here's what we've been up to:

We were off to California for Chip's cousin's wedding. They boys were great on the plane ride, and we were all so excited to see family and have a good time. We planned on doing sight-seeing while we were there in addition, and for being there for only 4 full days (got there really late Wednesday night and left for the airport Monday after checking out of the hotel), we did a lot..

Jared's 2nd t-ball game. He made a couple plays from the pitcher position and got a couple hits - definitely a good game in his book...

Chandler had his 2nd football game against South Gwinnett. It was a hard-fought game, but in the end, we lost 13-6. We had a lot of penalties, and the coaches thought we should have won (we were up 6-0 right before halftime), but we didn't. To date, we are the only team to even score on South Gwinnett, so they're a pretty good team.

Jared had his first t-ball game of the season against the Marlins...I don't know who won, they don't keep track of wins and losses, and Jared really doesn't care, as long as he gets to bat more than once! He's so mellow and not like Chandler in that regard.

8.23.08

Chandler's first regular-season game against Duluth (they won 26-6). He scored on the first drive of the game in similar fashion to the week before (the jamboree vs. Grayson)...
